Technological Breakthrough

Dry Drilling Roof Bits
Out-Lasts Tungsten Carbide Bits
Self-Sharpening
Penetrates Faster
Less Maintenance
Reduces Down-Time

Tests show that BRADY'S NEW CERAMIC BITS outwear tungsten carbide
bits by 100 to 350 times drilling dry in hard abrasive sandstone, limestone and
shale with proper rotational speed and thrust settings.

BRADY'S CERAMIC VACUUM BITS are self sharpening. Bits remain
extremely sharp after drilling as much as 175 times that of a tungsten carbide
bit and generates less respirable dust.

BRADY'S CERAMIC VACUUM BITS drill into fractured and broken roof
tops with less bending of the steel compared with single blade type tungsten
carbide bits.

BRADY'S CERAMIC VACUUM BITS penetrate throughout the life of
the bit faster than that of tungsten carbide bits in 9,200 to 16,800 psi
compressive strength sandstone, limestone and shale formations.

BRADY'S CERAMIC VACUUM BITS require only 2,200 to 3,300 lbs. of
thrust or about 50% less thrust than is required for drilling with tungsten
carbide bits, less thrust, less wear on chucks, less maintenance

Down Time changing bits is reduced substantially. Inventory Control is made
easier. No Bits to return for retipping or resharpening.

Using
BRADY'S CERAMIC VACUUM BITS and the new "DUST HOG
REAMING
BIT SEATS" together will decrease bolting time substantially. The
driller has fewer stuck drill steel to fight because the hole irregularities are
reamed; therefore, resin cartridges, standard bolts and cable bolts can be
installed easier and faster.
