High Density Ceramic

Roof Bits

Out-Lasts Tungsten Carbide Bits
Self-Sharpening
Penetrates Faster
Less Maintenance
Reduces Down-Time

Tests show that HIGH DENSITY CERAMIC BITS outwear tungsten carbide bits by 100
to 300 times.

HIGH DENSITY CERAMIC BITS are self sharpening. Bits remain extremely sharp after
drilling as much as 100 to 300 times that of tungsten carbide bit.

HIGH DENSITY CERAMIC BITS
drill into fractured and broken roof tops with less bending
of the steel compared with single blade type Tungsten Carbide bits which tend to follow the
fractures in the ground.

HIGH DENSITY CERAMIC BITS penetrate throughout the life of the bit faster than
tungsten carbide bits in 18-28,000 PSI sandstone.

HIGH DENSITY CERAMIC BITS require only 2,200 to 2,700 lbs. of thrust or about 50%
less thrust than is required for carbide bits for fast penetration. With the thrust reduced for
the drill steel life has increased six times.

HIGH DENSITY CERAMIC BITS
, Less thrust, less wear on chucks -- less maintenance.
Down Time is substantially reduced because fewer bits have to be changed and replaced.

Respirable Dust is reduced about 98% and Noise Levels are reduced about 10 db when
using
HIGH DENSITY CERAMIC BITS.

When
HIGH DENSITY CERAMIC BITS and the "NEW " REAMING BITSEATS are
use together, they decrease bolting time substantially. The driller has fewer stuck steel to
fight and because the hole irregularities are reamed, resin cartridges, standard bolts and cable
bolts are installed much easier and faster.
